Het Nationaal Big Band Concours Hoofddorp wordt gehouden op 16 mei 2009 als onderdeel van het Meer Jazz Festival. Met zo'n 18 deelnemende bigbands en een prijzenpot van €10.000 is dit het grootste big band concours van Nederland!
