Matthias Bergmann - Trumpet, Flugelhorn
born 1972, studied at Hilversum Conservatorium with Ruud Breuls, Rob Madna, Ferdinand Povel, Allan Botschinsky. Living in Cologne since 1997, playing with own quintet (CD Still Time, Jazz4ever 4789), co-leading the Paul Heller - Matthias Bergmann 5tet, Sideman with Andreas Schnermann, Florian Ross, Frank Sackenheim, John Hondorp and many others. Member of Peter Herbolzheimer Rhythm Combination & Brass and Cologne Contemporary Jazz Orchestra.
Teaching Jazz Trumpet at Musikhochschule Köln and Glen Buschmann Jazz Akademie Dortmund.
