Jargon, the ensemble of viola player and composer Maurice Horsthuis, always explores the elasticity of it’s core line up of strings, electric guitar and computer. How far can they go before the rubber band snaps?
Multi-musical explorers from contemporary composed and improvised music develop their own jargon in a continuing proces. They form an orchestra that can whip and swoosh without breaking, an elastic band.
