The Bende van Drie navigate across musical currents as diverse as jazz, tango, kwela and folk. The line-up of double bass, saxophone and accordion allows a great number of styles and crossovers. Sampling, quoting, combining and citing without reverting to stereotypes, the band uses mainly themes of their own.
