Bohemian Groove Orchestra
BOHEMIAN GROOVE ORCHESTRA
This brand new group is a joint (ad)venture of Stormvogels Alter Ego Jazzbarock Consort, Jeroen Pek’s PitchWhiteStorm, Onno Witte’s Wildcard and Wieke Garcia (Barditus). The works of the named leaders and composers are eclectic mixtures of different musical elements, like jazz, avantgarde, celtic, world, progrock, contemporary, medieval, classical, concrete and eclectronic music. Besides Stormvogel (keys), Pek (flutes), Witte (drums) and Garcia (gaita, percussion, vocals), keymembers are Wiro Mahieu and David de Marez Oyens (both on bass), Remko Smid Stalenhoef (sax) and Arjen de graaf (violin). Guestsolists are Bert Lochs (trumpet) and Rob van den Broeck (piano).
